Description
Sight black for matting and darkening the front and rear sight. The paint is supplied in a brown glass bottle with an integrated brush for thin application. The paint is water-based, dries quickly and can be removed easily and without residue using isopropanol / isopropyl alcohol.
Safety information: Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction.
Instructions for use: Before the first application, clean the sight so that nothing interferes beneath the paint. A full coat over the entire sight dries in about 5 minutes, varying slightly with amount and thickness. No special technique is needed; once dry, the paint is evenly matt throughout. Repeated application, e.g. for touch-ups, is easily possible. Touching up an existing coat with a sooting lighter is also possible and does not impair the paint. (Please note: applying the paint directly onto the soot without wiping it off first can lead to poorer results.)
